Multi-Vehicle Accident with Semi-Truck Kills One Person and Injures Another on I-10, Phoenix, Arizona

Phoenix, Arizona-  One person died and another injured in a collision between a flatbed tow truck and two other vehicles. The incident took place on the eastbound lanes of Interstate 10 in central Phoenix shortly after 8 p.m.

According to reports, the flatbed tow truck sideswiped a second vehicle, causing the latter to spin out of control and for the tow truck to suddenly stop in one of the freeway lanes.

A third vehicle, unable to stop in time, rear-ended the tow truck.

The driver of the third vehicle suffered fatal injuries and died on the scene.

The tow truck driver was transported to the hospital with a head injury. The driver of the second vehicle did not sustain any injuries.
