Semi-Truck Accident at Truck Stop Claims Life of Man in Northeast Albuquerque, New Mexico

Albuquerque, New Mexico – A semi-truck trailer ran over a man at a truck stop in the 2500 block of University Boulevard.

According to reports, an employee advised two commercial truck drivers to relocate their vehicles to different spots within the parking lot. During the process, the first truck, stationed alongside the second truck, prepared to vacate its spot. As the second truck’s driver began to move forward, the employee approached the driver’s side to reiterate the need to relocate.  That’s when the employee was struck by the first truck’s trailer and got caught under its trailer tires. The impact force caused the employee to be dragged forward a short distance.

The employee was declared dead at the scene.
