Machinery Truck Tire Accident Claims Life of Jacob Moler and Injures Damion Winkler in Hamilton, Ohio

HAMILTON, Ohio — On Tuesday, Damion Winkler and Jacob Moler were operating a 30,000-pound machine when a rubber tire roller malfunctioned, causing the machine to flip and roll, with multiple pieces and four tires breaking off.  

The roller carried the two individuals down Old Oxford Road before veering into the grassy area. Moler was fatally injured, and Winkler was airlifted to the hospital with injuries.  

The incident occurred at approximately 4 p.m. near Old Oxford Road, Hamilton Richmond Road, and Main Street.
