Sharon Rodgers Fatally Injured in Truck Accident on Interstate 44, Franklin County, Missouri

Franklin County, Missouri – At approximately 6:43 p.m., a 2002 Western Star Conventional truck was traveling westbound on Interstate 44 at a reduced speed. The truck was partially encroached onto the shoulder of the road when a 2013 Buick Lacrosse collided with the rear of the semi-truck’s trailer.

Sharon Rodgers, the driver of the Buick, suffered severe injuries and was pronounced deceased at the scene. The semi-truck driver did not sustain any injuries.
