Truck Causes Fatal Multi-Vehicle Accident with Motor Home on US 41 in Morocco, Indiana

MOROCCO, Ind. – Thursday morning, at approximately 10:55 a.m. on US 41, a westbound semi-truck failed to yield to a southbound motor home, causing the motor home to collide with the rear of the semi-truck, which then caused both vehicles to propel into another semi-truck at a stop sign.

The passenger of the motor home was pronounced dead at the scene.

The motor home’s driver was life-flighted to a Chicago hospital with severe injuries.

Both semi-truck drivers declined medical treatment.

An investigation into the incident is ongoing.
