A Dump Truck and a Pickup Crashed, Killing One Person at the Intersection of Highway 16 and Highway 211 in San Antonio, Texas  


San Antonio, TX – One person died Tuesday morning after a dump truck and pickup collided at the intersection of Highway 16 and Highway 211.

According to Bexar County sheriff’s reports, a dump truck traveling north on Highway 16 attempted a left turn onto Highway 211 south and lost control, crashing into a Chevy Silverado.

Emergency responders extricated the dump truck driver from the vehicle and transported them to the hospital.

No further details have been provided.

Thoughts on trucks and fatal collisions at intersections

We do not know what caused the dump truck to lose control while turning. It can be anything from driver error to a mechanical issue. Either way, the surviving family deserves justice for someone else’s negligent actions. It is only fair for the surviving family to receive justice for their loss, their pain and suffering, and their financial burden.

No one deserves to lose their loved one without a chance to say goodbye.
