Creed Felton Killed, Ronald Perez-Medina, and Arron Whiteman Critically Injured in a Three-Vehicle Accident Involving a Semi-truck on Interstate 40 in Yukon, Oklahoma

Yukon, Okla. — One person died, and two others suffered critical injuries after a Freightliner struck the rear of a Hyundai. Ronald Perez-Medina was driving the Hyundai. The incident happened on Friday at Interstate 40 eastbound of Czech Hall Rd. in Yukon.

According to reports, a 2017 Mitsubishi Lancer was stationary on the outside shoulder due to a previous crash on the roadway. A Hyundai began to slow down when it reached the crash when the Freightliner collided with the rear of the Hyundai, causing it to veer off the road and collide with the Mitsubishi.

The Mitsubishi Lancer passenger Creed Felton was pinned inside the vehicle. Felton passed away from his injuries at the scene. Perez-Medina and Whiteman, drivers of the Hyundai and Mitsubishi, sustained critical injuries.

No further details have been released.
