Four People Hospitalized Following a Tanker-truck Accident at the Intersection of U.S. 43 and Hwy 72 in Tuscumbia, Alabama


Tuscumbia, Ala. – Four individuals have been hospitalized following a multi-vehicle collision involving an 18-wheeler tanker. The incident occurred on Wednesday afternoon at the intersection of U.S. 43 and Hwy 72.

 According to reports, a Chevy Equinox became pinned under the 18-wheeler tanker. Emergency personnel extricated the driver of the Equinox from the wreckage and transported her to the hospital.

The tanker truck also sideswiped at least one of the other two vehicles involved in the collision.
