Two People Dead and One Critically Injured in an Accident with a Box Truck on Interstate 435 in Kansas City, Missouri

Kansas City, Mo. – Two people died, and one suffered critical injuries when a white Hino box truck rear-ended a Ford Fusion. The incident happened Sunday morning on northbound Interstate 435 before Missouri 210 Highway.

According to police reports, the Ford Fusion slowed down or stopped for reasons yet to be determined, leading to a rear-end collision with the box truck.

Both the driver and rear passenger of the Ford were pronounced dead at the scene.

The front passenger of the Ford suffered critical injuries. The box truck driver sustained non-life-threatening injuries.
