Construction Worker Injured After 25-foot fall in Troy, Ohio

Troy, Ohio — A construction worker was flown to the hospital after a 25-foot fall from a building roof. The incident took place on Saturday afternoon at a warehouse building in the 1400 block of W. Market Street.

According to reports, a man employed as part of a construction project had fallen approximately 25 feet from the roof of the building.

The injured worker was transported by CareFlight to the hospital for medical treatment. As of now, his current condition remains unknown.

Workers injured on the job deserve compensation for their harm

Workers who perform hazardous jobs deserve the peace of mind of knowing that safety precautions have been set in place before they perform their duties. The incident, here, begs the question of whether adequate safety protocols were in place at the construction site and about the preventative measures implemented to ensure worker safety.

An investigation by trained professionals will determine whether negligent work conditions contributed to this unfortunate accident. If wrongdoing is discovered, the injured deserves the right to hold the wrongdoers accountable for the harm suffered in this fall.

May all questions surrounding this incident be answered soon.
