Menard Employee Killed in Fall at Store on State Road in Orange Township, Michigan


Orange Township, Michigan — A Menard employee lost his life on Tuesday night after a fall from an elevated platform at the Menard’s store on State Road in Orange Township.

The 26-year-old employee fell approximately 20 feet onto a concrete floor. First responders took the young man to the hospital, where he succumbed to his injuries.

According to preliminary reports, the safety equipment may have been operational but not properly used.
