Paula Garcia Killed in a Semi-truck Accident on I-91in Hartford, Connecticut

Hartford, Connecticut — A woman lost her life on Tuesday when a collision occurred on Interstate 91 in Hartford. Paula Garcia, 52, was a passenger in a car involved in the crash with a tractor-trailer, according to Connecticut State Police.

The incident unfolded around 2:40 a.m. when a tractor-trailer was trailing a 2015 Nissan Rogue with Garcia as a passenger. For an unknown reason, the Nissan slowed down, and the tractor-trailer collided with the vehicle.

Garcia died at the scene. The driver of the Nissan sustained minor injuries and was transported to Hartford Hospital for medical attention.

No other details have been released.
