Semi-truck loses control on Vallejo highway, Injuring One Person in Vallejo, California

Vallejo, California – A collision involving a big rig and an SUV unfolded on Sunday night in the vicinity of I-80 eastbound and I-780 westbound highways. The incident occurred when the big rig lost control and jackknifed on the transition ramp, leading to a  collision with an Audi.

The driver of the Audi sustained injuries, although the extent of these injuries remains unknown at this time.

California Highway Patrol has indicated that the weather played a significant role in the accident, with rain pouring across the Bay Area on Sunday.
