Two People Dead and One Injured in a Container Ship Fire at Port Houston, Texas


Port Houston, TX — A fire engulfed the M/V Stride, a container ship docked at the Barbours Cut Container Terminal at Port Houston. The incident claimed the lives of two crew members and left another critically injured.

Fire officials found the deceased and injured in the vessel’s engine room where the fire originated.

No other details have been released.
