Woman Dies in Rear-End Accident with Semi-truck on U.S. 23 in Washtenaw County, Michigan

Washtenaw County, Michigan – One woman died, and another person was hospitalized after a semi-truck rear-ended their passenger vehicle. The incident happened Wednesday on U.S. 23 near Geddes Road.

 Reports state that the semi-truck was traveling behind the car driven by the woman when the vehicle slowed down, and the semi-truck driver could not stop in time. This led to both vehicles going into the ditch.

The young woman was declared dead at the scene. The incident also left a passenger in the car injured, and that young person was transported to the hospital.
