Worker Injured in Elevator Accident in West Palm Beach, Florida

West Palm Beach, Florida — A worker was injured in an elevator accident in a parking garage located in downtown West Palm Beach.

The technician was underneath the elevator conducting maintenance when hydraulic fluid leaked, causing the elevator to descend and trapping the technician underneath.

Emergency crews freed the trapped worker and transported him to the hospital.

The man sustained a head injury.
