Colorado Springs, Colo.— A worker sustained serious injuries after taking a fall at a construction site. The incident took place Thursday morning.

Fire crews used ropes and an aerial ladder to help rescue the injured worker who had fallen on the roof of an apartment building. The entire rescue operation took about 30 minutes.

The injured employee was hospitalized, and no further updates have been provided.
