At Least One Person Dead After Two Semi-trucks Crash Near Henderson, Rusk County, Texas

Rusk County, Texas —  A fatal two-vehicle wreck involving 18-wheelers has resulted in the closure of Highway 64 near Henderson.

According to officials from the Rusk County Office of Emergency Management, the crash occurred just west of the loop in Henderson, prompting the shutdown of Highway 64 from Loop 571 to County Road 424. The collision, which involved two semi-trucks in a head-on crash, took place around 9:30 a.m.

Emergency Medical Services (EMS) transported one person to the hospital.
