At Least One Person Injured When Semi-truck Tire Becomes Loose on I- 630 in Little Rock, Arkansas

Little Rock, Ark. – At least one person sustained injuries when a semi-truck experienced tire failure.

According to preliminary reports,  a tractor-trailer traveling westbound on the interstate had a tire detach and crossed the median, colliding with a car traveling in the eastbound lanes.

Emergency services have transported one individual from the crash site via ambulance. However, details regarding the extent of their injuries have not been released.

Thoughts on loose tires on semi-trucks

Those injured here deserve answers and justice for any wrongdoing that led to their injuries.

Trucking companies are responsible for ensuring the safety of their vehicles before they venture onto the roadways. This obligation entails conducting regular inspections and maintaining their trucks properly. When a tire becomes dislodged from a vehicle, it often indicates improper installation, particularly the failure to tighten lug nuts adequately. This is dangerous and deadly. Trucking companies must prioritize properly installing tires to prevent them from detaching during travel. It is a reasonable expectation that all tires are installed securely.

If a thorough investigation by trained professionals reveals that the trucking company was negligent in maintaining its truck, the company should be held accountable. No one deserves to suffer harm because of someone else’s negligence.

May all the facts on what caused this accident come to light soon.
