Mindy Cates Seriously Injured in Semi-truck Accident on Hwy 277 Near Cyril, Oklahoma

Cyril, Okla. — A woman was seriously injured in a collision with a semi-truck on Monday night on Hwy 277.

According to the Oklahoma Highway Patrol, Mindy Cates was traveling north when her vehicle crossed the center line and collided head-on with a semi-truck.

Emergency responders worked to free Cates, who was pinned for approximately 25 minutes before being extricated from the wreckage. She was transported to the hospital

with injuries to her head, trunk, and legs.
