One Person Injured After a Semi-truck Crashed into Their Pickup truck on Interstate 10 in Phoenix, Arizona


Phoenix, AZ—A pickup truck caught fire after colliding with a semi-truck on Interstate 10 near 67th Avenue. The incident happened Wednesday night.

According to authorities, the pickup truck had stopped on the freeway due to a mechanical issue. The driver activated the emergency lights; however, a semi-truck driver failed to notice the stationary pickup and collided with it, causing the pickup to catch fire. The truck became engulfed in flames, and fire responders were there to subdue them.

First responders transported the pickup truck driver to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
