One Tow Truck driver killed, and Another Injured in an Accident with a FedEx Semi-truck on I-20 in Duncanville, Texas

Duncanville, Texas – A tow truck driver died, and a second wrecker sustained injuries in a multi-vehicle crash on Interstate 20 on Wednesday. The collision involved a FedEx truck, a flatbed trailer, and two smaller vehicles.

According to reports, the crash happened when two wreckers were on the right shoulder of the highway, preparing to tow a car when a FedEx truck tried to pass a vehicle in the right lane, colliding with the wreckers and the car and trapping the tow truck drivers beneath the wreckage.

One tow truck driver was pronounced dead at the scene, while emergency responders airlifted the other truck operator to a nearby hospital.
